BioTek Lionheart FX Automated Microscope

The Lionheart FX Automated Microscope enables fast and precise acquisition of fluorescence, bright field, color bright-field and phase contrast images in a variety of specimens including fixed/living cells, tissues or labelled materials. Thanks to the incubator with controlled temperature and humidity, it supports long-term experiments, such as cell proliferation assays, single or collective cell migration or invasion assays.

For specific applications, the Lionheart FX can be also integrated with microfluidics systems as well as with a dual reagent injector which facilitates rapid kinetic assays.

Key technical features:

-    4 Filter Cubes for fluorescence imaging: DAPI (EX 377/50 nm, EM 447/60 nm); GFP (EX 469/35 nm, EM 525/39 nm); Texas Red (EX 586/15 nm, EM 647/57 nm); CY5 (EX 628/40 nm, EM 685/40 nm).
-    Stage adaptors are available for multi-well plates, petri dishes, microscopy slides
-    4 Objectives: imaging is possible with 4X, 10X, 20X and 40X magnification
-    Software: Gen 5 for (semi)automation of image capture, processing, analysis
-    Integrated with incubator for live cell imaging and controlled CO2/N2 supply for long-term imaging and experiments with reduced oxygen supply (i.e. hypoxia)
